Leave a gift in your Will

Your Will can do more than distribute what you own. It can extend who you are and the values you hold close.

Love felt for generations

A gift in your Will to Ronald McDonald House NZ helps ensure that, for generations to come, families have somewhere warm to sleep, a home-cooked meal after a long day on the ward, fresh sheets, and above all, a place to stay together.

Be remembered for your love, caring spirit and generosity.

A Lasting Legacy, with Herb Keen

Herbert (Herb) Keen, one of New Zealand’s oldest citizens and World War II veterans, passed away in 2023 at the Wallingford Rest Homes in Temuka, north of Timaru, with his family by his side. He was 106.

Although he never had children, his generosity extended far beyond his family, leaving about $200,000 to various charities in his will, including $50,000 to Ronald McDonald House New Zealand.

To the people who support Ronald McDonald House, I want you to know that your donations make a very real difference to families like ours.— Kelsey Poa, Whangarei
I don't think we'll ever forget the people we've met for what Ronald McDonald House did for our family.— Sarah Peterson, Hamilton
Having a place to stay just across the road took so much stress away.— Michael Rea, Malborough

$15,000 – $20,000 – can help establish a special programme, such as an art or music room, or a dedicated play area.
$80,000 – can cover the cost of a brand-new family bedroom, as we strive to accommodate all families who need our assistance.
